Notables: With 15 hits in the game, the Renegades bats woke up early
on Saturday. Megan Belio was 2 for 3; Shannon Tillett was 3 for 3
with 3 RBIs; Brenna Sandberg hit a 3 run home run; Amanda Ziegler
was 2 for 2 with a sacrifice bunt and Vanessa Currie was 3 for 3
with a double and 3 RBIs. Defensively, Catcher Lauren Gellerman
threw out a runner stealing 2nd and picked off another runner at
2nd. Chelsea Velovich pitched a 3 hit shutout and recorded 6
strikeouts.

vs. Washington Diamond Dusters – Won 8-1
Notables: Alix Johnson hit a bases-loaded single to bring in 2 runs.
Maggie Doremus was 2 for 3 including a double. Shannon Tillett was 2
for 3 with a double. Brenna Sandberg pitched a 2 hitter.
Defensively, SS Kellie Fox went deep into the hole behind second
base to make a run saving out and 2B Maggie Doremus laid out to
catch a line drive.

vs. Bellvue Blast – Won 5-0
Notables: Megan Belio hit a triple and Chelsea Velovich hit a
double. Brenna Sandberg pitched a 1-hit shutout and recorded 4
strikeouts.

vs. California Sting Sacramento – Won 11-1
Notables: The bats were alive again where the team combined for 14
hits. Megan Belio was 3 for 3 with a double; Alix Johnson hit a 2
run home run; Maggie was 3 for 3 including a 3 run home run; Lauren
Gellerman was 1 for 2 with a walk; Cassi Gibson was 1 for 1 with a
walk and 1 run scored. Three pitchers, Sandberg, Velovich and
Tillett, combined their efforts to produce a 1 hitter with 6
strikeouts.

vs. American Athletics Gold (Kevin) – Won 8-2
Notables: Chelsea Velovich pitched a 4 hitter. Shannon Tillett was 2
for 3 with 2 doubles and 5 RBIs; Maggie Doremus and Kellie Fox both
were 2 for 2 with a walk scoring 3 times each. Megan Belio was 2 for
3 and scored a run.
 
Great defensive plays included SS Kellie Fox who laid out to snag a
line drive in the first inning; a double play from SS Kellie Fox to
2B Maggie Doremus; and a Web Gem from OF Alix Johnson who laid out
in left center field robbing a batter of an extra base hit.

vs. Riptide Gold – Won 9-2
Notables: Megan Belio pitched 5 innings while allowing 2 runs. Alix
Johnson was 3 for 3 scoring 3 times; Nikki Ketteringham was 3 for 3
with 3 RBIs; Lauren Gellerman had a triple and an RBI; and Vanessa
Currie was 2 for 2 with a triple and an RBI.

vs. SoCal Explosion Gold – Won 6-1
Notables: Brenna Sandberg pitched a 3 hitter with 8 strikeouts.
Shannon Tillett was 3 for 3 with 3 RBIs; and Lauren Gellerman had a
triple and a sacrifice fly contributing 3 RBIs.

showcase.

vs. Corona Angels (Marty) – Lost 5-3
Notables: Lauren Gellerman was 2 for 2 with an RBI; Maggie Doremus
had a run scoring triple; Melissa Tillett pitched 5 innings with 6
strikeouts.

vs. Valley Breeze – Won 3-2
Notables: Brenna Sandburg pitched a strong 4 2/3 innings allowing
only 1 run on 3 hits; Melissa Tillett got the save; Alix Johson was
2 for 3; Maggie Doremus was 2 for 3 with a double.

vs. CA Lite – Lost 3-2

vs. Sliderz – Won 6-1
Notables: Megan Belio pitched a 3 hitter; Maggie Doremus was 3 for 3
with 2 doubles; Alix Johnson was 2 for 3; and Kellie Fox hit a 2 run
triple.
