Renegades

Summer 2006

Melissa & Gracie

Melissa and Gracie will be joining us
on the Walk

The San Diego Renegades will be
partipating in the Walk to Cure Diabetes again this year. Last year
we raised over $3,000 for JDRF research and had a great time on the
walk. This year, we will be joining the San Diego Aztec Softball
team on the Walk. This is a great opportunity to give back to our
community, while getting a chance to meet the players and coaches of
the San Diego Aztec Softball Team.

All of our players from last year remember, Gracie, a 5-year old
girl that suffers from juvenile diabetes. Last year, we may Gracie
an official member of the Renegades. Recently, Melissa Owens (now
with
SDSU) presented Gracie with her official Renegades jersey (see
photo).
Gracie and Melissa will be joining us on the walk as well. This will
be a very exciting time together. To sign up for the Walk to Cure
Diabetes or to make a donation, please visit the link below.
