VANGUARD     5/8/2015 – CONGRATS to Kristyn Whitley, who will be attending Vanguard University.  What a great four years you have to look forward to.  Kristyn received and academic and athletic scholarship to play softball at Vanguard.  Head Coach Beth Renkoski is very happy to be landing a top recuit who will anchor 3B and help lead her 2015/2016 team.  It should be lots of excitement to watch Renegades play Renegades in the GSAC Conference.  Kristyn has amazing talent and joins teammate Amber Huffman.  Great jog Kristyn, you have earned this great opportunity.  GO LIONS!!
UM falcons     5/8/2015 – CONGRATS to Sarah Federico, who has accepted her scholarship to attend University Montevallo in Alabama.  She has landed a great school and softball program in Alabama.  Coach Vanover is very happy to have Sarah show off her softball skills and help this great program take off with her leadership skills.  Sarah joins teammate, Cel Davila, at Montevallo and know she will represent well.  Great job to Sarah and family!  Job well done!!
palomar5/8/2015 – CONGRATS to Briana Moreno, who will be attending Palomar College in San Marcos.  She wanted to stay close to home and will be playing at one of the best JC softball programs here in San Diego. We know Briana will fit in nicely.  Coach Lacy Craft will expect Briana to compete and win a corner outfield spot next season to help her team keep the many State titles going.  Congrats to Briana and family.  We are very proud of you!  GO COMETS!!

aurora  3/2/2015 – A big CONGRATS to Ashley Pittman, our outstanding catcher, has signed on to attend Aurora University in Illinois.  Ashley, you have been a pleasure to coach.  All of your hard work and years of grinding it out behind the plate has landed you at a great University.  I have talked to Coach Mike McKenzie and he is really excited to have such a great player join his very talented team next fall.  Ashley was recruited in Colorado last summer by Asst. coach Tristan Wilcox.  After watching her play, Coach Wilcox was convinced Ashley had the skills that she was looking for.  (Not bad coming from an ex catcher!)  What made her stand out was her blocking skills and controlling the game. Her handling of the pitchers and calling her game is Ashley’s strength.  Congrats to Ashley and The Pittman family.  Well Done!  GO SPARTANS!!  🙂
marion inst  2/18/2015 –  Amanda Whitley is looking forward to becoming an officer in the Navy and Marion Military Institute (MMI) will get her started on that path.  She loved the school, the people, the atmosphere and her softball coach, Sarah Harman.  She wants to study leadership.  MMI is a program of academics and physical preparation for students who wish to attend service academies (West Point, Air Force Academies, Naval Academies, Marine Academies and Coast Guard academies.)  MMI also has groomed 206 Admirals and Generals.  Maybe Amanda will make it 207!  Amanda looks forward to ancoring an outfield spot for the Tigers and being a big part of Coach Harman’s program.  We salute you Amanda!  Well done!!  Go Tigers!!
niu2/18/2015 –  La La Toomalatai has verballed to Northern Illinois University.  Coach Christina Sutcliffe has had her eyes on La La for years.  What she really like about La La was her passion for the game.  Coach Sutcliffe is expecting this 2016 grad to come in and compete for a middle infield spot right away.  La La, your hard work has paid off and your parents and Renegades Family are very proud of what you have accomplished!  Go Huskies!!
