Hall of Fame - Fans

Donna and Bree WilliamsDonna Williams (1959-2011)
Well-respected and well-loved, Donna Williams was a San Diego Police detective who helped run the Child Abuse Unit. With her husband Howard, she raised her family in the PQ community, where her two daughters were standout softball players for PQGSA and the San Diego Renegades. To know Donna was to love her. She had a tremendous zest for life and a wonderful sense of humor. A loving and dedicated mother, Donna was a huge fan of her children and could be found cheering at all their sporting events. Traveling with her daughters' Renegades teams brought her much happiness and pride -- especially during her restaurant birthday celebrations! We'll always remember her contagious laughter filling the stands, sharing joy with everyone fortunate to have known her.

Howard was a sergeant with the San Diego Police Department and served in the Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. Howard was a tireless fan of both his Renegades daughters, Dekenya and Briana, to the very end. A true supporter of the Renegades, he often took photographs during games and generously shared them with the team. His larger than life voice encouraging, "Bring it, Bree" will remain in our hearts.

Mike Brown (1950-2002)
The father of pitcher Mandy Brown passed away during Mandy’s senior year in high school. Prior to his passing, Mike was a major part of Mandy’s life and her biggest supporter of her softball career. Mike could always be found anywhere Mandy was practicing and he spent countless hours sitting on the bucket to catch her both at home and during her lessons. As a parent and supporter, Mike was always positive and supportive of all the players and coaches. Mike was always willing to lend a hand to help with anything that needed to be done without being asked. Mike was also a good sounding board for the coaches, as we always knew he would tell things honestly and in an unbiased way. Mike will be sorely missed both as a parent in the organization and a friend in life.

Grandma and Grandpa Edelbrocks
The most loyal and supportive fans any team or organization could ever have. We will miss them dearly now that Kelli Edelbrock is off to college but their dedication and support deserves mention in our Hall of Fame.
