16U Team - Stern

Welcome to the 16U Stern San Diego Renegades.

The team began in September 2009 with a great representation of the best 15-16 year olds from Scripps Ranch, Bonita Valley, Santee, Chula Vista, Claremont Mesa, and Poway.

We have met our goals in qualifying for the World Series and Nationals and have moved up 16U's. We are building team unity which will allow this team to stay together for many years to come. We have fun and work hard as a unit while we play in local friendlies, host our own friendlies, play in local tournaments, and play in friendlies and tournaments in Orange County and Los Angeles. Our typical schedule is 3 out of 4 weekends with one weekend off.

We WILL be playing in the 4-6 Showcases (Las Vegas, Arizona, San Diego, Los Angeles, and Colorado), Premier, States, Nationals, and maybe either USSSA or Triple Crown World Series (schedule permitting) as 16U's. Fees are reasonable and there are no mandatory fundraisers.

Our 14U team performed very well with both 14U and 16U competition as 14's in 2011.

We will be holding individual tryouts, specifically for outfielders and middle infielders to complete our roster. If you are interested in trying out, please do not hesitate to contact me.
