14U Team - Silveira

Welcome to the San Diego Renegades 98 team coached by Tony Silveira.

Our team is a member of the Amateur Softball Association (ASA). We compete in Southern California ASA which traditionally has dominated every age group of softball at the National level. We believe that youth sports help promote team unity, character building, physical fitness and self-esteem in the players. Athletics prepare the players for the future and help develop skills to be used further in life. It has also been proven in various studies that female athletes perform better in academics and are less likely to have personal problems then the non-athletes.

So Cals Finest St Paddys Silver Champs

SDR 14U - Silveira had a great weekend playing at the So Cals Finest St. Paddy's Day Tournament (delayed until April due to a rainout) and came home as winners of the Silver Bracket. The girls played well together - great pitching, defense and hitting to end up winning all games during Sunday's bracket play. Congratulations girls. Well deserved!

2012 TCS February Frost

Congratulations to the Renegades 98 girls who finished tied for 3rd in the February Frost tournament this past weekend and qualified for the Triple Crown World Series in their first tournament play of 2012. Well done ladies!
